ACC ASCENDER ALUMNUS, A. SANCHEZ, EARNS MASTER’S DEGREE

ACC Ascender alumnus, Armando Sanchez, graduated from Texas State University on May 12. Armando earned a Master of Arts in Political Science. He holds Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Communication Studies from Texas State University. He earned an Associate’s degree in General Studies from ACC in December 2019.

While completing his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, Armando worked as a Graduate Assistant for the Department of Political Science. He also served as a Graduate House Representative and Parliamentarian for the Texas State Student Government. During his time at ACC, he interned with the Texas House of Representatives at the Capital in Austin.

“I am the first generation in my family to graduate from high school, graduate from college, and achieve a master’s degree. The journey wasn’t easy but it definitely paid off -where I would learn numerous things, learning to become a better student and a better individual, where I would take the lessons and apply them to my social and academic life,” he commented.
