CTN DIRECTOR OF R&E, E. DORAN, RECEIVES EXCELLENT NEWS

Erin Doran, CTN Director of Research and Evaluation, has recently received several excellent notices. Her manuscript was accepted for publication in the journal Race Ethnicity and Education on Mexican American Studies programs at Texas community colleges. It is titled “A space for beginning’: Teaching Mexican American studies in Texas community colleges. Race Ethnicity and Education.”  It can be found at https://doi.org/10.1080/13613324.2022.2047637

Erin was also selected to serve as the Secretary of Division J (Postsecondary Education) for the American Educational Research Association (AERA).

In addition, Iowa State University’s Senior Vice President and Provost has recommended that Erin be awarded tenure and be promoted to the rank of Associate Professor in the School of Education.
