TIL ELECTS CTN AUTHOR MENTOR, TRONCOSO, AS NEW PRESIDENT

CTN author mentor, Sergio Troncoso was recently elected as the new President of the Texas Institute of Letters. This is the first time a writer from El Paso has been elected to this office.

The Texas Institute of Letters is a non-profit Honor Society founded in 1936 to celebrate Texas literature and to recognize distinctive literary achievement. The organization’s elected membership consists of the state’s most respected writers of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, journalism and scholarship. Induction into the TIL is based on literary accomplishments.
