CTN BOARD MEMBER, GRAY, RECEIVES NOMINATION FROM AUSTIN GIVES

BANK OF AMERICA WINS AWAR

Each year the Austin Chamber of Commerce honors the philanthropic efforts of the local job creators and companies that go above and beyond in the community with the Austin Gives Generous Business Awards. Lillian Gray, Austin Community Relations Manager, was nominated in the individual volunteer category, a new award introduced this year. “I feel that by volunteering and serving out in the community, you are connecting yourself not just to a potential solution but also to the problem and really getting to understand what’s happening in the communities you serve in a different way,” commented Gray.

CTN sponsor, Bank of America, won the award in the extra-large business category. “Our philanthropy is all about economic mobility, so in a way it reflects the values of a financial institution because we’re about impacting small businesses; we’re about changing the education system in a way that produces work force for the community,” commented Nikki Graham, Austin Market President, Bank of America.
