CTN Board Chair, Dr. Rogelio Saenz, spoke at the Lideramos’ National Latino Leadership Symposium which took place Sept. 24-25. His presentation was “Numbers Don’t Lie!: Leveraging Demographics to Empower and Activate Latino Leaders.”

The symposium’s title was ¡Aqui! ¡Ahora! Nuestro Poder! Increasing your Power, Impact, & Internet Savvy During Virtual Times.  Its purpose was to assist participants to be more impactful during COVID-19 and beyond. Sessions included using technology tools such as Zoom and YouTube and how to use these to promote leadership and activism in the community. Additionally, there were sessions on culture, Latino issues, and Black-Brown collaboration intended to advance participants’ leadership capacity.
