Matt Flores

Matt Flores has been a communications professional for 37 years, including 20 as a journalist for the San Antonio Express-News and the Dallas Times Herald. He also has worked in higher education as a media relations supervisor, public information officer, magazine editor and speechwriter. Currently, he serves as assistant vice president for communication at Texas Woman’s University. He has held similar positions at Texas State University and the University of Texas System. He earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin.
