Melinda Andrews

Melinda Andrews is a full-time faculty in the School of Education at Dallas College. Melinda has been teaching EDUC 1300 Learning Frameworks at Dallas College since 2009. She teaches Child and Adolescent Development, Prenatal and Infant Development, and the BA Apprenticeship Course in the bachelor’s program. She also  teaches a CDA course paired with Learning Frameworks. Melinda earned an M.S. in Human Development from the University of Texas at Dallas, and a B.B.A. in Business Management and Marketing from Abilene Christian University. She is A.B.D. in her Ph.D. in Behavioral and Brain Sciences from the University of Texas at Dallas. Melinda’s past careers include a Preschool Director, an Assistant Store Director for Tom Thumb Food Stores, a Contract Negotiator for Texas Instruments, and a Logistics Administrator for Texas Instruments. Melinda lives in Richardson with her husband, one of her two sons, her rescue pit bull mix dog, a cockatiel, a Nigerian dwarf goat, and a Tennessee fainting goat.
