Dr. Chuang Shao currently serves as Department Chair of Mathematics at Dallas College and was recently elected as President-Elect of the Texas Association of Academic Administrators in Mathematical Sciences (T3AMS). With over two decades of experience in teaching and academic leadership, Chuang is committed to innovative pedagogy, student success, and well-being. Known for her expertise in building high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, and driving strategic initiatives, she brings a robust background in curriculum development, community building, and faculty support. Passionate about integrating psychological principles to enhance learning outcomes, Dr. Shao actively engages in initiatives like the ASCENDER Program and Transformative Teaching, empowering others and advancing the evolving goals of education.
