Crystal Amber Olivo is a native of Brownsville, Texas–the city “on the border, by the sea.” She is a First- Generation college student. She graduated Magna Cum Laude & Summa Cum Laude from (what is now) UTRGV with an Associate of Arts General Arts Degree, a Bachelor of Arts in English/Education 8-12, and a Master’s Degree in English concentrating on Women’s Studies. Crystal loves exploring career and personal-growth possibilities for her students. In her free time, Crystal enjoys lounging with her cats, crafting dopamine decor, and dancing/playing. Being a San Antonio College advisor is her dream job.
