CTN RECEIVES HISPANIC IMPACT FUND GRANT

Catch the Next was one of 12 nonprofit organizations selected as this year’s Hispanic Impact Fund grant partners. CTN received $5,000 in the Job Skills and Entrepreneurship category. Other recipients in this category included Con Mi MADRE, E4 Youth and Grameen America.

The Hispanic Impact Fund exists to support the economic security and advancement of Hispanic Central Texans, an essential priority for the future of the region. By leveraging the assets, resilience and strength of the Latino community, the investment is in the potential of future leaders and entrepreneurs.

The Hispanic Impact Fund is part of Austin Community Foundation which was created through the generosity of one woman, Fannie Gray Files Leo. She wanted a way to provide for her favorite charities and upon her death, she earmarked five percent of her estate ($30,000) to create Austin Community Foundation.
