Erik Pavia

Erik Pavia graduated with a business degree from UTEP, and then attended Stanford University, where he graduated with his law degree in 2013.

Growing up in El Paso, Pavia recalls working in the summer with his dad, a pipe welder, and living in a double-wide in Canutillo until the age of nine. Although he had a mindset that he was “just a kid from El Paso,” he now has the perspective that the qualities of many in El Paso—initiative, resiliency, self-reliance, humility—are actually the traits that contribute to successful entrepreneurs and business people.

Pavia is in Operations at Knotch, a San Francisco-based software company. Born and raised in El Paso, Erik recently embarked on the teaching of business law as a part-time faculty member at the University of Texas at El Paso.
