ACC HOSTS POSADA CELEBRATION

The Ascender team welcomed students and mentors to celebrate Posada on December 1, at the Eastview campus. Attendees experienced the traditional Posada celebration, which translates as "inn" in a Spanish, amidst Christmas music, tamales, candies, and gifts. Alejandra Polcik, the Ascender program manager, presented a summary of the student's accomplishments over the semester, creating space for introspection and gratitude for the goals achieved. Then, the ugly Christmas sweater contest was held, and everyone shared fun and laughter with a white elephant gift exchange.
