ACC ASCENDER STUDENTS PREPARE FOR TRANSFER AND CAREERS

ACC students had the opportunity to participate in two events to help them prepare for their college and career plans. Financial Aid Specialists were at two different campuses to help students with their financial aid paper work and scholarship applications. Students also took part in mock interviews and learned how to create a good resume for a job interview or transfer to four-year universities. Mentors were invited to attend as well, and gift certificates were raffled off. Free pizza and sodas were provided. Students will also have the chance to attend the Career Services’ Spring Job Fair, hosted at ACC’s Highland Campus ACCelerator from 1-4 pm on April 5. More than 100 employers representing 1,000+ job and internship opportunities will be there. In addition, representatives from all 10 areas of study will be available to answer questions and provide guidance on educational pathways.
